Things You Need to Understand about the Nature of CBD Oil
In the cannabis plant, we can find among its several chemicals, the compound called cannabis or CBD or the cannabidoil. Note that there may be some confusion as to the effect of cannabidoil in our body but one thing for sure, it has several health purposes too. Researchers are continually finding ways to establish that there are potential therapeutic uses of CBD.
The term CBD oil refers to those oils which contain CBD concentrations. Take note that different oils would also vary in their uses and concentration.
As the most active ingredient in marijuana, it is delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol or THC that is popularly known today as a compound in cannabis.
Know that marijuana has two compounds, the TCH and CBD with each having various effects.
THC is broken down as it is being heated and produces a so-called mind altering “high” effect, after being introduced into our body in the manner of smoking or cooking it with our foods.
The difference between THC and CBD is that CBD is not psychoactive, of which it means that the state of mind of the person who uses it does not change. Significant changes in the body though are found also from using this chemical plus other medical advantages.
CBD that is mostly used for medical purposes is contained in hemp, which is the cannabis plant found to be least processed. Cannabis sativa is the name of the plant where hemp and marijuana come from although both are not the same.
Farmers for the past years have bred selectively their plants in order to attain the plant in high THC, and they are doing this not only of the interest but also of the smell or effect they had on the flowers of the plants.
Note that cannabinoids, such as CBD, work their way to the body’s receptors by attaching themselves in order to produce the effects known for it.
Imagine our human body producing in itself some certain cannabinoids. The two receptors that our human body has for cannabinoids are so called CB1 and CB2 receptors.
The receptors of CB1 are present in all parts of the body, although many of them can be found in the brain. In dealing with coordination and movement, emotions, pain, our mood, thinking appetite, memories and others, CB1 receptors are in-charged.
Inflammation and pain are affected with the CB2 receptors, which are usually found in the immune system.
Anxiety issues and body pains can be helped well with the use of CBD. It is also experienced that when you apply cannabis oil, sunburn can be healed overnight.
